Departing from Marina Mirage, we head out for the first of many perfect photo opportunities of the Surfers Paradise skyline. Turning north we cruise past Southport Yacht Club, Marina Mirage, waterfront restaurants and the Versace Hotel.
We continue past Australia Fair Shopping Centre, Sea World, the Gold Coast Seaway up to Runaway Bay. A sure scenery highlight is the Sovereign Islands – home to the largest and most expensive waterfront properties on the Gold Coast. We then continue at a leisurely pace back towards Marina Mirage. |
